The term environmentally friendly is possibly one of the most misunderstood and misused terms in recent years.
Our research shows that there is great misunderstanding about the negative effect of using paper and paper-based products on the environment. Contrary to misinformed criticism, paper has an excellent environmental-friendly story to tell, as paper through managed forestry is a completely renewable and recyclable raw material.
Think Design and Print is totally committed to the protection of the environment and the world’s forests. We only buy papers from recognised UK paper merchants who source their products from well-managed, sustainable forests. As a result, we can offer a wide range of environmentally approved or recycled products. Our extensive range of digital print capabilities also helps to reduce waste by allowing clients to print smaller quantities, helping to reduce obsolescence and unnecessary storage.
We are also committed to continually reviewing and improving our production methods to minimise waste, maximise recycling and reduce our carbon footprint.
• FSC Certified Materials: The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) are an independent body advocating the sustainable use of our woodlands in manufacturing. They believe that paper production should not lessen the total number of trees on the planet; and certify materials that achieve this standard. Think Design and Print only use materials (card, board and paper) certified by the FSC.
